Examples

It's so amazing how our little girls soak up everything we say, do, don't say, and don't do. This morning as I was trying to work on some paperwork Reese grabs her stroller with her baby doll in it and says "I'm gonna run Momma." I'll admit, it put a smile on my face. I can't wait to run a race with my girls. Rowyn comes in putting down a book of Sudoko puzzles (a new habit Ben and I have picked up) that she had been "working on" to grab her pram and doll to take a few laps with Reese. By laps I mean through the office to the living room around to the kitchen and back through the office. Of course there are plenty of examples that aren't so bragable, but we won't go through those.

They are both loving to cook and bake. Rowyn would be in the kitchen all day if I let her. She is pretty good at it. Reese just copies her big sis. I let them make their own sandwiches, (yes it's messy, but so worth it) Reese always wants to cut hers how ever Rowyn is cutting hers for the day. Today it was a flag.

Of course they say the sweetest things. The other night I was laying in bed with both of them reading books and snuggling. I look over at Reese with her long dark eyelashes and her dark eyes set against her milky white skin. "You are my little angel," I say while stroking her soft cheek. She looks over at me "Momma, no angel, I a princess." Precious.

I can only hope and pray that some how the not so good examples are weeded out some how, and that they can tell the difference.
