Me and the girls and my mom got to fly down to New Mexico for Thanksgiving this year. Bittersweet. Glad we got to go, but missed Ben. This is a picture my Aunt Jennifer took. She is so artistic.
On the airplane ready to go!
Above the clouds...one of my favorite parts of flying.
Nana's House! Penn Farms is what Papa had started. Now my Uncle Kevin and cousin Zach do the farming.
Zach, Uncle Kevin, and Nana took us on a tour of the farms. The girls got out and picked a few chilli's.
We got to go see puppies...now Rowyn wants one. Thank you Aunt Kathy. :)
Long travel days make for special naps in Nana's chair.
Cousin Lily...(sister or cousin?)
Thanksgiving morning at Aunt Brenda's and Uncle Bill's.
All the kids had a train of bikes circling the house. Seven in all.
Picking pecans at my cousin Allisons house. They earned their keep. They got alot of pecans.
We even got to take all the kids to see A Seussical...very cute Dr Seuss musical.
Aunt Brenda's quality beverages for my girls.
Sleeping on Uncle Chris and Aunt Jennifers couch.
Me and my cousin Jessie.
Walking on the roof of a house out by Uncle Chris's. I think that may be Cook's Peak in the distance.
Me and my cousin Amy and Aunt Brenda and my mom.
The girls like their Uncle Kevin. Reese is still talking about riding on his lap in Zachary's truck.
They had a blast. Thank you Aunt Jennifer! (The girls proudly call her Jennifer the boss of Dairy Queen)
And on a tiny plane at that. All twelve rows. We boarded twice. The de-icer truck (they only have one in El Paso) ran out of de-icer. This lead to us missing our connection and making a 6 hour travel day into a 10 hour travel day.
Ahhh, almost home. Thankful we got to go. Next time Ben will have to come with us. Life is too short to not stay connected to family.
and appreciate the family that you are fortunate enough to live around! I love the photos!!!
