OCD. Passing it on.

As Ben and I watched Reese we smiled at each other. She was sitting up on the counter because in her excitement she wanted to "see". We were making hot cocoa's just coming inside from a chilly venture of bike riding. We a handed Reese and Rowyn each their portion of marshmallows for their cocoa. Rowyn walked away and started eating them (That is what I would do...too hard to sip around them in the cocoa). Reese lined them all up in a perfect line one by one. Then proceeded to eat one at a time starting from front to back.

Reminded me that the other night we had pizza for dinner. I have been having the girls more involved in the kitchen, for one they want too, and two it helps them understand nutrition. Rowyn had taken all of the pepperoni and lined the outside edge of the pizza in a perfect line. She was so proud. It's funny the things your kids pick up!

Owen Beach

Last week we packed ourselves all up and headed out for the zoo. The girls had been asking to go and we have a zoo pass, so why not. Well it was Tuesday and the zoo is currently closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Not to fret a mom can always think quick on her feet, so down the hill to Owen Beach we went! It was a beautiful day at that!
The girls found big sticks and thought they were the greatest things.

We had a good time and will definitely be back soon. They want to go back to "the lake."
